Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of Kola Market, an online marketplace operated from Sunyani, Bono Region, Ghana ("Kola Market", "we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. The marketplace

Kola Market connects independent vendors with buyers. Products are supplied by vendors; Kola Market lists the products, coordinates delivery, and provides marketing. We take reasonable steps to verify vendors but do not manufacture the goods ourselves.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate details when you register, and you are responsible for activity under your account. Because we deliver to you, a valid name, phone number, and delivery address are required to place an order.

3. Orders & pricing

All prices are shown in Ghana Cedis (GH₵) and include applicable delivery fees calculated at checkout. Order totals are confirmed by our system at the time you place the order. We may cancel an order if a product is unavailable or a pricing error occurs, and will refund any amount paid.

4. Payment

We accept Mobile Money (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo), debit/credit card, and cash on delivery. Card and Mobile Money payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Paystack. Kola Market does not store your full card or Mobile Money credentials.

5. Delivery, returns & refunds

Delivery, returns, and refunds are governed by our Delivery & Returns policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Vendors

Vendors receive 88% of the sale price of their products; Kola Market retains a commission (currently 12%) for delivery coordination and marketing. Vendor payouts are released after delivery is confirmed. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kola Market for any unlawful purpose, to sell prohibited or counterfeit goods, or to interfere with the platform's operation or security.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kola Market is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Ghanaian courts.
